    Three Indian Navy ships, INS Delhi, INS Shakti, and INS Kiltan, have arrived in Manila to strengthen maritime cooperation with the Philippines. The ships are part of an operational deployment of the Eastern Fleet to the South China Sea. They will engage in professional interactions, sports fixtures, cultural visits, and community outreach programs.

    The Indian Coast Guard ship Samudra Paheredar, a specialized Pollution Control Vessel, has arrived in Manila, Philippines, starting its overseas deployment mission to ASEAN countries. With 25 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets on board, it aims to expand the reach of the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan internationally. This deployment, from March 25 to April 12, is focused on enhancing cooperation, interoperability, and demonstrating India's capabilities in marine pollution response to ASEAN nations. The ship had previously been deployed from September 11 to October 14, 2023, as part of India's ASEAN initiatives for marine pollution response.
