    The Delhi Police have announced plans to form smaller teams from their existing five bomb disposal squads (BDS) and 18 bomb detection teams (BDT) to meet the need for more units in case of emergencies. The police also mentioned 23 BDS/BDT units of the Central Armed Police Forces stationed in the national capital, which can be deployed after approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Five batches of BDS/BDT, each with 15 personnel in each batch, will be trained in this regard.
