Delhi HC sets aside Union Bank's decision declaring PP Jewellers 'wilful defaulter'
The High Court in its recent order granted time to the company to put forth additional submissions to Union Bank's review committee for a fair and just decision on the matter. The bank's review committee had declared PP Jewellers as a wilful defaulter in February this year.

Jewellers urge govt to reduce import duty on gold in Budget 2022
Ahammed MP, Chairman, Malabar Gold & Diamonds said "The Union finance minister should prioritize slashing import duty on gold in Budget 2022. With a 7.5% customs duty, the total levy on gold imports is pegged at 10.75%, making gold smuggling a lucrative prospect."
