    CIDCO approves 6-year construction period from plot possession for Navi Mumbai Airport affected people

    The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) in Maharashtra has approved a construction period of six years for people affected by the Navi Mumbai International Airport project to complete construction on their allotted plots. This is a special case, as the prevailing policy allows for a construction period of four to six years from the date of agreement. CIDCO has granted the extended period due to the project's national importance and to ensure smooth development of the plots. If construction is not completed within the six-year period, land holders will need to apply for an extension.

    Efforts being made for resettlement of displaced individuals: Manipur CM N Biren Singh

    The Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh, has stated that efforts are being made to resettle displaced individuals in their respective lands. A comprehensive strategy is being worked out to rebuild houses in secure areas. Singh emphasized that no alterations were made to names or addresses during this process.
