    Sebi issues Rs 6-cr demand notices to 11 in Religare Finvest case

    The 11 entities that received notices are - Torus Buildcon, Artifice Properties, Rosestar Marketing, Oscar Investments, Ad Advertising, Zolton Properties, Saubhagya Buildcon, Star Artworks, Vitoba Realtors, Devera Developers and Harpal Singh.

    Religare Finvest case: Sebi orders attachment of bank, demat accounts of Shivinder Mohan Singh, 4 others

    Earlier this month, Sebi sent notices to various entities, including erstwhile promoters of Religare Enterprises Malvinder Mohan Singh and Shivinder Mohan Singh, asking them to pay Rs 48.15 crore within 15 days in a fund diversion case of Religare Finvest.

    Sebi bars Singh brothers, former promoters of Religare Enterprise from markets

    These RHC group companies were in turn entirely held by Shivinder Singh and Malvinder through Shivi Holdings and Malav Holdings. Religare Finvest (RFL) was a material subsidiary of REL during the probe period. Sebi said RFL had granted unsecured loans to a number of entities under its corporate loan book.

    Religare Finvest fund diversion case: Sebi imposes Rs 60 cr fine on Singh brothers, 8 others

    Capital markets regulator Sebi on Thursday imposed a penalty totalling Rs 60 crore on 10 entities, including Malvinder Mohan Singh and Shivinder Mohan Singh, in a case involving the diversion of funds of Religare Finvest. In addition, the Singh brothers have been barred from the securities market for three years, or till the recovery of the diverted money along with interest, while other entities have been prohibited for two years.

    The case relates to the Singh brothers, along with other entities, allegedly diverting funds from Fortis Healthcare for the ultimate benefit of RHC Holding Pvt Ltd -- an entity indirectly owned and directly controlled by the erstwhile promoters.

    NCLAT stays insolvency proceedings against RHC Holding

    A two-member NCLAT bench had admitted an appeal filed by Daiichi Sankyo against an order passed by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) directing initiating the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) against RHC Holding. The New Delhi bench of NCLT, on May 13, had passed the order against RHC Holding over a plea filed by its financial creditor Religare Comtrade Ltd.
