    Airtel prepays Rs 8,024 cr towards deferred liabilities for spectrum acquired in 2015

    Bharti Airtel has paid Rs 8,024 crore to India's Department of Telecoms, towards part prepayment of deferred liabilities related to spectrum bought at auction in 2015. Last year, it prepaid Rs 8,815 crore to the department, clearing a substantial amount of airwaves-related dues.
