    The Indian mutual fund industry witnessed a surge in equity fund inflows in June, reaching a record ₹40,608 crore. SIP investments continued to grow steadily, while debt funds faced outflows. Total industry assets under management hit a new high of ₹61.33 lakh crore.

    In June, mutual fund (MF) SIP contributions exceeded Rs 20,000 crore, totaling Rs 21,260 crore, up from Rs 20,904 crore in May. Total SIP contributions for the first half of 2024 surpassed Rs 1 lakh crore, reaching Rs 1.19 lakh crore.

    There can be a little bit of time correction, and then earnings growth will catch up. Varun Saboo of Anand Rathi Share is still positive on a defence theme or railways theme, etc, which was going around all the time. He does not see any change in the narrative which was there.
