Punjab trader shot dead in Srinagar, another injured
An unidentified gunmen shot dead a non-local trader and critically injured another in Srinagar's Shaheed Gunj area. Amritpal Singh, a resident of Amritsar, succumbed to his injuries, while Rohit, also from Punjab, is undergoing treatment. The attack occurred amidst assertions of improved security in J&K. Political leaders across parties condemned the violence, calling it barbaric and hindering peace efforts.
Sikh man shot dead by terrorists in Srinagar city, another injured
Terrorists fatally shot Amritpal Singh and injured Rohit, both from Amritsar, in the Habba Kadal area of Kashmir. Singh died on the spot, while Rohit sustained abdominal injuries and is undergoing treatment. This marks the first attack on a non-local in Kashmir this year.
