      The Supreme Court has denied a plea for an urgent hearing by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) challenging the Delhi High Court's order granting interim bail for health reasons to Sameer Mahendru, a liquor businessman in a money laundering case. Mahendru was accused of irregularities in the scrapped Delhi excise policy by the CBI and the ED. The High Court had granted the interim bail to Mahendru due to his worsening life-threatening illness that requires immediate medical attention and postoperative care.
