    As elevated valuations cap the upside in the broader market, smallcap rally was subdued but steady with 52 stocks gaining in double digits during the week. Mid and smallcaps had witnessed strong rallies over the past few months thus making valuations a little stretched.

    Chennur Congress candidate G Vivekananda is the richest politician contesting in the November 30 assembly polls with declared assets worth over Rs 600 crore, followed by P Srinivas Reddy from the same party with over Rs 460 crore. ​​On the day of filing nomination papers, November 9, the Income Tax Department conducted searches at Srinivas Reddy's residences and offices here and in Khammam.

    TCS among 4 stocks that turned ex-dividend today

    Shares of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Visaka Industries, DCB Bank, and DJ Mediaprint have turned ex-dividend. TCS, which announced a dividend of Rs 24 per share, has fixed June 15 as the record date. In the last 12 months, TCS has paid a dividend of Rs 91 per share with a dividend yield of 2.8%. While Motilal Oswal has a buy tag on TCS stock, most analysts are cautious on the IT sector in the near term. TCS stock closed flat at Rs 3,245 apiece on NSE.

    With a market cap of Rs 5,158 crore, Edelweiss Financial Services is an investment and financial services company based in Mumbai. The company will pay an interim dividend of Rs 0.25 per equity share on Thursday. Shares of Edelweiss Financial Services rose 1.2% to Rs 54.7 apiece in Friday's trade on BSE.

    This smallcap has risen 160% in 3 years; announces interim dividend

    Visaka Industries has declared an interim dividend of Rs 7 per equity share for the financial year 2022-23. The company's record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for said dividend payment has been set on April 12. The company's stock has gone up by 160% in the last three years and had a 1.35% increase on April 2 to a closing price of Rs 342 per share.

    In Q3FY23, Visaka Industries reported an 86% decline in its net profit to Rs 3.71 crore as against Rs 24.03 crore during the previous quarter ended in December 2021. Its sales stood at Rs 354.76 crore in the quarter that ended December 2022 as against Rs 353.82 crore during the previous quarter that ended December 2021
