    GMR lines up Rs 4,000-crore loan to build Vizag international airport

    GMR has secured a ₹4,000-crore loan from an infrastructure finance company to construct a new airport in Vizag. The airport will be GMR's fourth major airport in India and will be built in three phases, accommodating 6 million passengers in the first phase and 40 million passengers once completed. The loan has a 14-year term with an interest cost of around 10% per year.

    Odisha inks agreement, to set up 5 multispeciality hospitals in PPP mode at Rs 500 cr

    The Odisha government has signed agreements with private healthcare players to build five affordable multispeciality hospitals in the state. These hospitals, with 100 to 200 beds, will be developed in public-private partnership mode in Angul, Barbil, Bhadrak, and Jharsuguda. This initiative is the first of its kind in any state and aims to encourage private investments in the health sector.

    The capacity of Visakhapatnam refinery will rise to 15 million tonnes a year from the current 8.5 million tonnes a year by June, HPCL Chairman Pushp Kumar Joshi said. The refinery will likely stabilize and start operating at full capacity by December, he added.
