📸✨ Unforgettable Memories at Museo Camera! 🏛📷 PIXELEENS, the Photography Club of ITL Public School, recently embarked on a captivating expedition to Museo Camera on 19th October 2023, an Indian treasure trove for photography enthusiasts. This unique space spans an impressive 18,000 sq. ft., making it the largest not-for-profit crowd-funded Center for Photographic Arts in South East Asia. During their visit, the students explored an extensive collection of vintage advertisements, historic patents, and photography curiosities dating back to the 1880s. Museo Camera's expert panel organized engaging workshops and discussions on both the history and contemporary practices of photography, offering a well-rounded perspective on this art form. As a delightful hands-on experience, the students also delved into Cyanotype printing, a creative craft that blends science and art to create mesmerising artworks. Today, on the occasion of World Photography Day, the Hon’ Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Manohar Lal Khattar,gifted Aditya Arya, Founder of Museo Camera, a Speed-Graphic Graflex. Today also marks 4 years since Museo Camera was opened to the public. In four short years, Museo Camera has become the cultural hub of Gurugram, despite the setback of the COVID-19 pandemic, which started six months after the launch of Museo Camera. With a footfall of over a few lakh visitors, over a few hundred exhibitions, events, cultural performances showcasing national and international artists and housing, preserving some of the most important national archives, Museo Camera is a pioneer in its field. One of the most critical aspects of Museo Camera’s has been that of conducting educational initiatives for students, with over 200 schools and colleges having already visited. Another special focus of Museo’s, is its expression and platform for the classical arts of India, highlighting and showcasing it to the residents of Gurugram.
