Ramaswamy said his team "methodically logged all passenger complaints" for months for recognising the pain points that the airline would have to work on.
The mobile application now has features that give the passenger the status of an aircraft that is to be deployed on a particular flight "which contributes to lowering anxiety when waiting for the incoming aircraft to arrive."
"United has this feature," said Ramaswamy.
