PGCIL Recruitment 2023: Powergrid India is looking to hire Junior Technicians. Everything you need to know

Synopsis

The exam is expected to be held in January next year. Candidates who want to apply for this post and gets selected will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs.1,25,000/- for General/ OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and Rs. 62,500/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for serving the Corporation for a minimum period of three years after completion of training successfully.

POWERGRID Corporation of India Limited on its website announced that it is looking to hire 203 Junior Technician Trainees. The last day to apply is on December 12.

The exam is expected to be held in January next year. Candidates who want to apply for this post and gets selected will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs.1,25,000/- for General/ OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and Rs. 62,500/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for serving the Corporation for a minimum period of three years after completion of training successfully.

Candidates appointed as Junior Technician Trainee in PGCIL will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 18,500/- during training period. On successful completion of training and getting confirmed, they will be given a title of Junior Technician (W-3) with the basic pay of Rs. 21,500/- in the pay-scale of Rs. 21500-3%-74000/- (IDA).


Eligibility
  • The candidate should not be more than 27 years old.
  • Candidates must hold degree in ITI (Electrical) in the Electrician Trade from a recognised college/university/deemed to be university. It is important to hold a a higher technical qualification such as Diploma, B.E., B.Tech, etc., either with or without ITI.

Selection Process
Selection will made based on an online test, document verification and a medical exam.
