Arunachal, Sikkim Exit Polls 2024 Result Live: Who's winning the throne in AP and Sikkim?

Sikkim Assembly Election Results: SKM leading on 31 seats, SDF leading on 1 seat

Synopsis

Arunachal Pradesh saw simultaneous assembly and Lok Sabha elections on April 19, with vote counting set for June 2. The BJP has already secured 10 of 60 assembly seats unopposed. In Sikkim, the ruling SKM, led by Prem Singh Tamang, seeks a second term, with vote counting also on June 2.

Exit polls today predicted BJP to come to power in Arunachal Pradesh while in Sikkim, the ruling SKM is expected to get the mandate for another term.

As per India Today-Axis My India survey, 44-51 seats may go to BJP's kitty while Congress may get 1-4 seats. On the other hand, NPP may get 2-6 seats and others might get 2-6 seats.

In Sikkim the ruling SKM is seen getting 24-30 seats, according to the survey of India Today-Asix My India. As per the survey, BJP might get 0-2 seats. As per the exit poll, SDF may be the biggest loser with loss of around 13 seats and might get 1-3 seats.


Assembly and Lok Sabha elections were held simultaneously in Arunachal Pradesh on April 19. Counting of votes for the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections will begin at 6 am on June 2.

A total of 133 candidates contested in the assembly polls for 50 assembly seats. Notably, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has already won 10 seats in the 60-member assembly unopposed.

In the 2019 polls, the BJP had bagged 41 seats. The JD (U) had won seven seats, the NPP five, Congress four, while the PPA had secured one seat, and Independent candidates got two.

Polls for the 32-seat Sikkim Assembly were held on April 19 and votes will be counted on June 2.

The ruling SKM is seeking a second successive term in power under Prem Singh Tamang's leadership and has fielded candidates for all 32 assembly seats in the elections.
