Having moved up sharply Nifty is currently facing hurdles at the resistance of 24,000-24,100 levels. Any dip from here is likely to be a buying opportunity. Immediate support is at 23,800 levels, said Nagaraj Shetti of HDFC Securities.

Indian benchmark yield dips for third straight quarter amid index inclusion

Tata Steel UK begins legal action against union strike, fears plant closure
Tata Steel is initiating legal action against the validity of a steelworkers' union strike ballot. The strike threat from Unite the Union may necessitate early closure of blast furnaces at Port Talbot, impacting planned shutdowns.
"Following the announcement by the Unite Union to unilaterally call strike action from July 8, Tata Steel is unfortunately forced to commence legal action to challenge the validity of Unite's ballot," a Tata Steel spokesperson said.
"In the coming days, if we cannot be certain that we are able to continue to safely and stably operate our assets through the period of strike action, we will not have any choice but to pause or stop heavy end operations (including both blast furnaces) on the Port Talbot site. That is not a decision we would take lightly, and we recognise that it would prove extremely costly and disruptive throughout the supply chain, but the safety of people on or around our sites will always take priority over everything else," the spokesperson said.

Stanley Lifestyles shares jump nearly 30% in debut trade
Shares of luxury furniture brand Stanley Lifestyles Ltd ended with a premium of nearly 30 per cent on Friday, against the issue price of Rs 369. The stock started the trade at Rs 499, reflecting a jump of 35.23 per cent on the BSE. During the day, it soared 38.21 per cent to Rs 510. Shares of the company ended at Rs 474 each, up 28.45 per cent.
On the NSE, it listed at Rs 494.95, up 34.13 per cent. Shares of the firm ended at Rs 479 apiece, rallying 29.81 per cent. The company's market valuation stood at Rs 2,702.62 crore.
In volume terms, 55.85 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE and 216.11 lakh shares on the NSE during the day.
The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Stanley Lifestyles got subscribed 96.98 times on the last day of subscription on Tuesday.
