The year of 2023 ha witnessed the witnessed the release of several big games. This month alone saw a face off between Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on Playstation 5 and Super Mario Bros Wonder on Nintendo Switch. However, the lineup doesn't end there as gamers can expect a number of top notch video games to hit the market this year.

In 2010, bestselling writer Alan Wake went on vacation in the Pacific Northwest and never came back. Turns out he’s been trapped all these years in “the Dark Place,” trying to maintain his sanity and write his way out of the nightmare. Enter Saga Anderson, an FBI agent investigating a series of ritual murders that she thinks might be connected to the missing novelist. That’s the setup for Alan Wake II, Remedy Entertainment’s long-awaited sequel to a game that’s become a cult favorite. If you were rattled by the David Lynch-meets-Stephen King vibe of the original, Remedy is promising to lean even further into the creepiness. The horror returns Friday, October 27, on PlayStation 5/4, Xbox X/S and PC.

On October 27, Desolatium will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch. UFC 5 will also be released on the same day on PS5, Xbox Series X|S.

The month of October will see games such as "Head Bangers: Rhythm Royale" on Switch, 'Jusant' on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, "Little Goody Two Shoes" on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC, "Silent Hill: Ascension", "The Foglands" on PS5, PSVR 2, and "You Will Die Here Tonight" on PC. These games will be released on October 31.
