Area Sales Manager
About the Role
As an Area Sales Manager (Mechatronics) at Luna Technologies in Mumbai, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers in the mechanical products industry. Your focus will be on driving sales in the territory, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
Responsibility
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers in the Mechatronics industry, focusing on products such as shafts, bearings, gearboxes, rack n pinions, and Guideways
- Understand customer requirements and ensure services are delivered accordingly
- Drive sales in the assigned territory
- Identify and onboard channel partners for business development
- Train channel partners on CRM software usage for follow-ups and quotations
- Coordinate with Sales Engineers to identify potential customers and input data into CRM software daily
- Achieve personal and team sales targets
- Manage and support team members in achieving their targets, providing training, motivation, and performance feedback
- Ensure team members complete assigned tasks on time and meet deadlines
- Accountable to management for team performance, visits, and meeting deadlines
- Educate and train distributors or channel partners on new products and technologies through meetings with technical personnel
- Analyze training needs for distributors and engineers, schedule training programs with HR
- Convert exhibition directories into Excel sheets post exhibitions, follow up with customers regularly
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or equivalent
