Electric vehicle startup iVOOMi has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of an affordable electric scooter, the S1 Lite. This EV is available with two battery options to choose from - a Graphene unit delivering range of up to 75 km and a Li-ion pack that comes with a claimed range of up to 85 km. As for the charging time, the former takes 7-8 hours to fully juice the battery while the top-spec S1 Lite Li-ion variant can be fully charged in under 4 hours.

Both variants come equipped with a 1.2 kW motor rated for 1.8 kW peak power and 10.1 Nm of torque, thereby implying that in terms of performance, both trims are on par.
Speaking of hardware, the S1 Lite scooters employ telescopic forks in front and rear adjustable spring loaded units. The stopping power comes from a front disc and rear drum brake setup. It is worth noting that the affordable Graphene battery variant tips the scale at 101 kg, which is significantly more than the Li-ion variant that weighs at just 82 kg.
