22 illegal commercial buildings razed

Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation demolished 22 illegal commercial constructions on Sardar Patel Ring Road in Vatva area on Monday. The demolished buildings included the restaurant, Doston No Dayro, near Nirmal Sarovar, totalled 6,195 sq feet of illegal construction.
Apart from this, 10 illegally parked vehicles on various roads in the city were locked.The AMC estate department also demolished hazardous portions of 15 dangerous buildings on the Rath Yatra route in Khadia and Dariapur areas in the Central Zone.
