Ahmedabad man molests sister-in-law
AHMEDABAD: A 45-year-old woman from the Sardarnagar area of the city on Saturday filed a complaint with the Airport police alleging that her brother-in-law molested her on June 13.
The complainant, a widow, said in her FIR that her husband died in 2007 and her two sons, aged 29 and 25, have been staying in South Africa for two months.
On June 13, her husband’s elder brother, 50, came to her house and told her that he wanted to talk with her at some other place.

On his instructions, the complainant sat pillion on his scooter, and he took her to a tea stall where there was a small room. She said that he offered her to sit on a cot and he also sat beside her. Suddenly, he began molesting her seeking sexual favour from her in lieu of money. The accused allegedly offered to pay the monthly rent for his house and other expenses for her if she would allow him to have sex regularly.
The complainant said that she refused to succumb to his demand and he dropped her to her home.
Later, she raised this issue with another family member and filed a complaint of molestation with police.
