Health minister applauds doctors
Gandhinagar: State health minister Rushikesh Patel held a video conference with doctors across the state on Monday on the occasion of National Doctor’s Day and commended them for their services in the healthcare sector.
An official statement said Patel listened to problems that doctors faced in the state health department setup. Directors and medical superintendents of various hospitals located at Ahmedabad Civil Medicity also joined in the video conference.
Patel particularly thanked medical officers of Raiya PHC in Banaskantha district and Khavda CHC in Kutch for their service.

Dr Rajesh Verma, medical officer of Khavda CHC, performed about 1,500 child deliveries without a single mother or child having lost their lives.
