Four kids tied to tree, beaten on suspicion of stealing goat, 6 held
Ajmer: Police arrested six persons for allegedly abducting four children, tying them to a tree, stripping and beating them with belts and sticks over suspicion of stealing their goat at Shrinagar village in Ajmer on Wednesday.
The victims’ mother filed a complaint with police after a video of the incident went viral. The police arrested all the accused, initially for disturbing peace and subsequently for abduction and wrongful confinement.
Additional SP Rural, Deepak Kumar, said that mother of the children, a resident of Balak Ka Kheda in Shrinagar block, in her report stated that six persons from Shrinagar village came to her house on June 24 and abducted her kids.
They were later found tied to a tree in the village and beaten with belts and sticks, he said.
