City’s first FIR under new laws lodged at Dhoomanganj thana
Prayagraj: Sangam city’s first FIR under the newly implemented Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS-2023) was registered with Dhoomanganj police on Monday. The FIR was filed at 3:55pm on the complaint of a Sulemsarai resident Anita Devi against one Bhanu and another person under sections of 115, 352 and 351 (3) of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita for allegedly assaulting her and her husband Bharat Lal.
The miscreants also threatened the couple of dire consequences. Police said the incident took place around 10am and further probe was on. tnn
