Schools reopen, UP Board start preparations for 2025 exams
Prayagraj: With the opening of schools, authorities of Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) have started preparations for the board examination 2025.
Board secretary Dibyakant Shukla has announced the timetable for advance registration for the academic session 2024-25 in schools from classes 9 to 12. Shukla said new admissions will be taken till Aug 5 and the exam fee received from the students of high school and intermediate can be deposited in the treasury by Aug 10.
After this the deposited examination fee and the educational details of the students will need to be uploaded on the board’s official website www.upmsp.edu.in by Aug 16, said Shukla.

After Aug 10, the last date for depositing the examination fee in the treasury through challan with a late fee of Rs 100 per student is Aug 16. Information about late fee and educational details of students will then need to be uploaded on the board’s website by Aug 20.
After receiving the checklist of the students uploaded on the website, the principals will check their details including name, parent’s name, date of birth, subject and photo etc from Aug 21-31, he added.
Shukla further said if there is any correction that needs to be made following the scrutiny of applications, principals will be able to do it between Sep 1 and 10.
No new details of students will, however, be allowed to be uploaded during this period. After that, the principals will submit the photo roll and copy of the treasury receipt of the students to the regional office concerned of the board by Sep 30 through the office of the district inspector of schools (DIoS) concerned, he added.

Likewise, for advance registration of classes 9 and 11 students, the principals will upload the details of registration fee and educational details of those taking admission in classes 9 and 11 by Aug 25.
After receiving the checklist, principals will check their details from Aug 26 to Sep 5. Any kind of correction needed to be done will be carried out between Sep 6-20 and a copy of the photo roll and treasury sheet will need to be submitted to the office of the DIoS concerned by Sep 30 for sending it to the regional office of the board concerned, Shukla added.
