Beed Sena district chief Khande held
CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR: The local crime branch of the Beed police, on Friday night, arrested Shiv Sena district president Kundlik Khande in a murder attempt and criminal conspiracy case that was registered against him and 11 others in April 2024.
Khande was produced before the court, which remanded him in three-day police custody.
A couple of days ago, Khande landed in trouble after audio clips - in which Khande could be heard admitting to having backstabbed BJP candidate Pankaja Munde to aid the NCP (SCP) candidate win in the LS poll.

During the day, to ease the strain caused by Khande's audio clips between Shiv Sena and BJP, CM Eknath Shinde issued directives and Khande was removed from Beed district Sena president's post.
