2013 murder accused held in Budaun district

Bareilly: A man wanted for murder was arrested by UP STF in a joint operation with Maharashtra police in Budaun.The incident occurred in 2013 in Vasai area, under the limits of Waliv police station in Mumbai, where Khursheed Alam Ansari, alias Heera, killed Mahesh Kumar Ramchandra before going into hiding.Ansari was arrested from Budaun on Monday while on his way to Jahangirabad.

Maharashtra police took him into custody and then to Mumbai.
Ansari told police that after committing the murder, he fled to Delhi and then to Odisha. Earlier this year, he returned to his hometown, believing the murder case against him had been closed. Kanwardeep Singh
