2 booked for bid to extort Rs 3 crore from Prajwal Revanna's brother

HASSAN: Cops have filed an FIR against two men for allegedly attempting to extort money from JD(S) MLC Suraj Revanna by making allegations of harassment against him. Suraj's father (HD Revanna) and brother (Prajwal) have been booked in a separate harassment case.
Suraj's friend filed a complaint with police where he said one Chethan, now named in the FIR, began pressuring him to use Suraj's influence to secure him a job. Chethan later told him that Suraj had sexually harrassed him, and threatened to hold a presser and file a case against the MLC if his demands were not met, the complainant stated. He allegedly demanded Rs 5 crore, but reduced the amount to Rs 3 crore.
