‘V Somanna was speaking of railway connectivity’

BENGALURU: Responding to minister of state V Somanna’s claim on Saturday that Vande Bharat fares would be made affordable, South Western Railway (SWR) has clarified that he was referring to expanding rail networks in Karnataka and making them affordable.
“As per the vision of the PM, efforts will be made to connect every corner of Karnataka by enhanced railway connectivity, which will be affordable to all sections of society, including poor people,” SWR quoted the Union minister of state for railways as saying.
