BHOPAL: On the first day of assembly, ministers answered some pointed questions, which revealed the appalling state of MP.
Minister of state for skills development & employment, Gautam Tetwal, informed the House that a total of 25,82,759 persons are registered on the MP employment portal.

In a written to a question of Bala Bachchan of the Congress, the minister said that through the employment exchanges, 2,32,295 persons were given offer letters in the private sector.
However, he did not reply to a question on the jobs given in the govt and semi-govt departments and institutions, saying that this information is not maintained.
Commenting on the status of sports coaches in the state, sports and youth welfare minister Vishwas Sarang admitted in the House on Monday that there is no regular coach for training in any sports in Madhya Pradesh, as of now.
In a written reply to a question of Atif Aqueel of the Congress, he said that 104 posts of technical experts of A, B,C,D and E categories are sanctioned for various sports academies, which are run under his department. Two posts of coach-cum-administrator, one post of head coach-cum-administrator, five posts of assistant coach-cum-administrator, 12 posts of assistant coach and 45 posts of players' coach are also sanctioned. Besides, 81 posts of contract district sports' coach grade 1 and 40 posts of district sports' coach grade 2 and 12 posts of contract malkhamb coaches are sanctioned, he added.

Aqueel had sought to know number of posts of regular coaches, which are sanctioned in the sports and youth welfare department and whether it sufficient vis-à-vis the states which are doing well in sports like Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab and Chandigarh.
