Bhopal: The House paid tribute to to former members of the assembly, who passed away recently, two soldiers from the state killed in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, and passengers who died in a bus accident in Dindori on Feb 28, 2024. Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar read out the obituary references to former MLAs Harsh Singh, Chandra Prabhash Shekhar, Vijay Dubey, Maksudanlal Chandrakar, Shantilal Biswal, Beni Parate, Jaswant Singh Rathore, Madanlal Tyagi, Vitthalrao Mahale, former Governor of UP Dr Aziz Qureshi, former Speaker of Lok Sabha Manohar Joshi, Jain saint Acharya Vidyasangarji.
