Chugh: AAP broke poll promises
Chandigarh: BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday accused the Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab unit of first failing to fulfil its election promises from 2022 and now violating the model code for the Jalandhar (West) assembly byelection by offering sops to the voters through official organisations.
He said: “Chief minister Bhagwant Mann of AAP had promised to regularise the services of contractual employees, but didn’t.
He promised to control the drug and sand mafia, but proved ineffective. AAP’s convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal promised a corruption-free state but got arrested in scam cases. He should quit his office.”
