CHENNAI: The Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology will organise a free screening camp on men’s sexual wellness. The camp will be held on the hospital premises at Nungambakkam on Sunday.
Tests will be done between 9am and 2pm at the camp led by urologist and microsurgical andrologist Dr Sanjay Prakash J. The facility will offer lab tests monitoring testosterone, random blood sugar, lipid profile along with an endothelial scan and an andrology consultation.
The tests and consultation, valued at 6,000, will be free.
Studies on sexual health in India reveal a substantial prevalence of impotence among Indian males compared to global statistics, a hospital release said. “Maintaining sexual health is crucial for men due to its direct impact not only on potency but also the entire quality of life,” it said.
