Three people were injured by a minor driver's car in Geeta Colony area, leading to police involvement and hospital admissions.

NEW DELHI: At least 3 people were injured when they were hit by a car driven by a minor in east Delhi's Geeta Colony area on Saturday morning, according to police.
The incident took place around 7.30am on Patparganj Road.
The trio was standing on the side of the road when a Baleno, traveling in the direction of Krishna Nagar, collided with them before coming to a halt.

A 16-year-old boy was driving the car with his friend, also a teenager. They were caught by the passersby and handed over to the police, a police officer stated.
Authorities have confirmed that the vehicle is registered under the name of the minor's father.
The wounded individuals have been transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, as per the police.
