Nadda invited to lay Goa BJP HQ foundation
Panaji: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday invited Union health minister and BJP national president J P Nadda to Goa to lay the foundation stone for the party headquarters in the state. BJP has decided to construct its new office on Kadamba Plateau. At present, the HQ is in the heart of Panaji.
Sawant along with Rajya Sabha member and BJP state president Sadanand Shet Tanavade met Nadda in Delhi.

Sawant said various aspects related to Goa BJP’s organisational aims to continue serving the people of the state were discussed in the meeting.
The CM also analysed the recent Lok Sabha election results with Nadda. BJP was able to retain the North Goa seat but failed to secure the South where the party had fielded Pallavi Dempo, the party’s first woman Lok Sabha candidate from Goa.
Union minister of state Shripad Naik created a record by winning North Goa for the sixth time.
