Manipur govt extends public holiday till today
Guwahati: Manipur govt has extended the public holiday till Thursday as various parts of Imphal East and West districts continue to remain inundated on Wednesday amid incessant rain. The govt has appealed to the general public to stay indoors. The embankments of the Imphal river at Singjamei Oinam Thingel in Imphal West and the Kongba river at Kongba Irong and certain areas of Keirao in Imphal East have been breached due to the rising water levels.
