Rhino calf rescued from Kaziranga
Guwahati: A two-year-old female rhino calf which was separated from its mother was rescued from the floodwaters inside the Kaziranga National Park’s Kohora range on Wednesday evening.
According to teams of the Assam forest line and mobile veterinary service from the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC), managed by the Assam forest department and the Wildlife Trust of India, the calf was found struggling to stay afloat inside the park.

After its rescue, the calf was transported to the CWRC and is currently being monitored 24X7 by a team of veterinarians and animal keepers, officials added.
