Man arrested for killing teen daughter after she resisted sexual assault

HYDERABAD: A 35-year-old man who had attempted to have sexual intercourse with his 13-year-old daughter and brutally murdered when she resisted him, was arrested on Wednesday, said Miyapur police of Cyberabad.
Initially a missing case was registered on June 7 and the girl's decomposed body was found in a forest area at Miyapur on June 14.
Based on CCTV footage, police identified that the accused and the girl were on a bike together and zeroed in on him, said V Durga Rama Linga Prasad, SHO Miyapur.
Police said the accused, working as a delivery boy, was addicted to porn. On June 7, he took his daughter under the guise of collecting fire wood from a nearby forest area.
After taking the girl to a forest area near Nadigadda Tanda and forced him self of her.
When she raised alarm and said that she would inform her mother and others, he got furious and started hitting her. As she fell unconscious, he smothered her to death and fled from the place, leaving her body at the spot.
