Telangana discom stops accepting bill payments made through third party apps

HYDERABAD: Monthly power bills payments must be made through TGSPDCL website www.tgsouthernpower.org or mobile app, the TGSPDCL has said.
“In adherence to RBI directions, the following third party application providers — PhonePe, Paytm, Googlepay, Amazon Pay — EBPP have stopped bill payment services to TGSPDCL consumers with effect from July 1,” said a statement from TGSPDCL.
