HYDERABAD: A 50-year-old woman allegedly murdered his husband for misbehaving with their daughter, 38, in Telangana's Sangareddy district late on Wednesday.
Police said their daughter had got married over a decade ago, but her husband died. She again got married a few years ago, but due to differences between the couple, her husband left her two years ago.

Since then, the woman along with her four-year-old daughter were staying with her parents at Sultanpur village of Choutkur mandal. The family was involved in farming.
The man would frequently abuse his daughter for being a burden on the family and used to harass her. Often, he would come home drunk and abused his wife and their daughter.
On Wednesday too, he came home drunk and picked up a quarrel with his daughter and also misbehaved with her.
Enraged by this, his wife picked up an axe and attacked him repeatedly, killing him on the spot. Knowing about the incident, locals alerted the police.
A murder case was registered at Kulkal police station and the woman and her daughter have been taken into custody for further interrogation.
