E S’bhum SSP showcauses 8 OCs for spike in crime
Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum SSP Kishore Kaushal served show-cause notices to the officers in-charge of eight police stations, seeking an explanation for the recent surge in crime incidents. The officers have been given two days to respond, based on which further action will be taken.
The decision comes in the wake of an increase in robbery, burglary, and chain-snatching cases in around 10 police station areas located under the urban circle of Jamshedpur in June.

SSP Kaushal directed the DSPs to conduct random night patrols and oversee the patrolling activities of the Tiger mobile jawans. Also, they are responsible for regular inspection of police stations and monitoring probe in all criminal cases.
