‘Resolve to make state healthy requires cooperation of people’
Kanpur: Deputy Chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Monday inaugurated the special communicable disease control and dastak campaign and diarrhea campaign programme at Kanshiram joint hospital and Trauma Centre Rama Devi . Speaking on this occasion the deputy chief minister stated that this campaign was launched thrice in a year. Since the formation of BJP government in state in 2017, a special campaign had been conducted for the prevention of mosquito –borne and vector borne diseases.
Volunteers of as many as 13 departments, would knock door to door to give locals a message of cleanliness. The govt’s resolve to make UP healthy requires active cooperation of people because no programme can be successful without public participation, he added. The deputy chief minister on this occasion administered cleanliness oath to people present on the occasion. District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh said that in this campaign, special attention was given to cleanliness, that there should be no pile of garbage or filth around the house and there should be no waterlogging anywhere.
At the end of the programme, the fogging vehicles were flagged off by dy CM. Health department personnel who did excellent work in communicable disease control were also honoured.
