59-year-old man abuses girl, her mom breaks his nose

KOTTAYAM: A woman punched a 59-year-old man, who allegedly sexually assaulted her daughter, leaving him with a bloody nose at Enath near Adoor. The incident happened at Nellimukal Junction when the Plus One student was returning home from school around 5pm on Friday. He was arrested soon after and remanded in judicial custody on Saturday.
As per the complaint, Pillai sexually assaulted the girl while she was alighting the bus.After getting down from the bus, the girl rang up her mother and informed of the incident.
The mother rushed to the spot and questioned the accused. Pillai tried to attack the woman too. She resisted the attack and punched Pillai on his nose. Enath Police took Pillai into custody and a Pocso case was registered against him.
The woman too has been booked for attacking Pillai.
