ZP engineers demand e-budgeting system
Kolhapur: Zilla Parishad (ZP) Engineers Association of Maharashtra has demanded the e-budget and e-measurement book system be implemented before August 15, otherwise they will stop submitting the budget or measurement book offline.
The association submitted a statement on this has been given to state govt on Tuesday. Pradeep Hupare, state secretary of ZP Engineer’s Association said, “While the number of engineers in ZP has decreased, the number of works has increased comparatively.
According to the govt’s decision of 6 July, 2019, an instruction has been given to implement a project management system for the ZP’s construction works. However, even after five years, no action has been taken. While other works are being done through modern e-systems, theadministration is indifferent to the online work of engineers. So, if this system is not implemented by August 15, all the ZP engineers will stop working offline,” added Hupare.
