Lucknow: Governor Anandiben Patel on Monday asked administrative authorities of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya, to adopt new and innovative activities to enhance quality of teaching-learning.
Patel who was chairing a meeting to review the self-study report for NAAC preparations instructed the officials to make maximum use of resources to promote research.
She asked the officials to make infrastructure more robust and user-friendly. “Ensure all construction activities are completed within time and make admission process simple for students,” she said.
The governor directed the university to organize extra-curricular activities for children studying in Anganwadi centres as it will contribute to the society. Patel advised the officials to take students on old age home visits. “This will make them more sensitive and responsible towards their parents and the elderly. When students will see how some people leave their parents alone in a helpless situation, the sense of culture and service will be awakened in them,” she said.
