Lucknow: Three schools in Lucknow received bomb threats via email on Monday, prompting the evacuation of
students and staff members.
Police teams, along with bomb and dog squads, arrived at the schools scanned every nook and corner but found no suspicious object.
"Three schools have received bomb threats. Police have arrived at the schools," confirmed DCP, East, Prabal Pratap Singh.The threats were sent via email, and a team is currently trying to identify the sender.
Archana Raj, Principal of Vibgyor School in Lucknow, which received the threat via email, stated, "We evacuated the entire school as soon as we received the threatening email. Parents were asked to come and pick up their children as we dispersed them." The police were also informed.
This incident comes 12 days after over 150 schools in Delhi-NCR received bomb threats of an unprecedented scale.
Additionally, on Sunday, seven Delhi hospitals, IGI airport in Delhi, and CCS airport in Lucknow received bomb threats via email.
