LUCKNOW: A man in UP’s Barabanki hacked his married sister, Jamila Bano, 30, to death after she allegedly turned down his pleas to end her extramarital affair. The accused, Usman, 50, who is a tailor, later walked to a police station and surrendered on Friday.
“Usman told the police that he got Jamila married to a man in Barabanki two years ago. She returned to her parents home three months ago.

Usman learnt that she was having an extramarital affair with a neighbour. Usman repeatedly asked his sister to end the relationship but she refused. Usman attacked Jamila with an axed while she was asleep ,” said Barabanki SP Dinesh Kumar Singh.
