LUCKNOW: The state government transferred the Police Commissioners of Lucknow and Prayagraj, along with 14 other IPS officers, on Saturday.
Lucknow Police Commissioner SB Shiradkar was given the charge of Additional DG Lucknow Zone, and ADG Lucknow Zone Amrendra Sengar was made the new Police Commissioner of Lucknow.
Meanwhile, Prayagraj Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma was given the charge of Bareilly Zone as Additional DG, and Lucknow Range Inspector General Tarun Gauba was made the new Police Commissioner of Prayagraj.

Similarly, Prashant Kumar was given the charge of IG of Lucknow Range.
Other transfers included ADG Traffic Directorate BD Paulson, who was shifted in the same capacity to Training Headquarters, while ADG K Satyanarayana was given the charge of the Traffic Directorate.
Additional DG Binod Kumar Singh, who was on the waiting list, was given the charge of Additional DG Cyber Cell. Additional DG Railways Jai Narayan Singh was sent to the Police Training Center in Sitapur, and Prakash D was made the new ADG of Railways.
In other transfers, ADG Antony Dev Kumar was shifted in the same capacity to CB-CID, while IPS Raghuvir Lal will serve as the ADG of Security and ADG of UP SSF. Premchand Meena has been appointed as the ADG of Police Housing Corporation.
Superintendent of Police, Rampur, Rajesh Dwivedi was given the charge of Kumbh Mela, and Vidya Sagar Mishra was given the charge of SP Rampur. IPS Yamuna Prasad, who was on the waiting list, was made DCP in the Noida Commissionerate.
