Specialists’ talk on heart health and diabetes
Lucknow: Lucknow Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee organized a health awareness programme to celebrate Doctors Day at the auditorium of a private hospital in Aashiana on Monday.
Cardiologist Dr Colonel Ajay Bahadur informed people about the ways to maintain heart health during the event followed by a session on prevention of diabetes by diabetologist Dr Mayank.
Both the doctors were felicitated by LGPC president Rajendra Singh Bagga and general secretary Harpal Singh Jaggi.
“We will organize monthly health awareness programmes and health camps in gurdwaras in near future,” said Bagga. Jaggi said that members of various gurdwaras of the city and people part of sangat will be given discount cards from the hospital.
