Man booked for raping minor girl

Ludhiana: The police have booked a city resident for raping and impregnating a 14-year-old girl. It is alleged that the accused had raped the minor girl in December 2023 but she did not tell anyone out of fear. The matter came to light when the girl gave birth to a stillborn child on June 26. An FIR has been lodged on the complaint of the mother of the minor.The woman reported that on June 26, her daughter complained of severe stomach pain. She went to the washroom where she gave birth to a stillborn child. She said that her daughter told her that last December, when she was alone at home, the accused raped her.
